Super Rugby: A look at the week ahead

There is a jam-packed week of action to look forward to in Australia with Super Rugby, Aussie Rules, NRL and A-League all on the agenda.

It is Easter week and always a good time for sports fans to take in the action during the holiday and there is plenty to go at.

There are just the four games in the Super Rugby, but a full schedule in all the other top sports. We are already on to round four in the AFL and this week the action is spread over five days with Geelong taking on Hawthorn on Easter Monday.

The same applies in the NRL with the action getting underway on Thursday and concluding with Wests Tigers versus the Eels on Monday.

There are just four games remaining in the A-League regular season before we hit finals and it is getting very tight at the top. Lots to get excited about so let’s take a look at the week ahead.

Super Rugby

There are two games on Friday and two on Saturday as we reach the midway point of the Super Rugby regular season. The Crusaders get the action underway on Friday afternoon when they take on Moana Pasifika, who have yet to win this season and sit bottom of the ladder.

Then in the early evening the third-placed Brumbies, who have won five from six this season, travel to take on the Reds. On Saturday the Highlanders entertain the Hurricanes, who sit second on the ladder, and the Rebels face the Blues.

Collingwood will be looking to make it four wins from four when they travel to Brisbane to take on the Lions in the opening game of the round on Thursday night.

They are priced at 1.82 with the Lions 2.00. On Friday night North Melbourne, who sit 2-1 for the season, take on Carlton and are priced at 3.35 to pull off an upset against the Blues.
