AFL: Swans ready to make it four out of four

Sydney travel to take on Richmond on Sunday looking to continue a strong start to the season which has seen them win the opening three games.

The Swans are now one of the hot fancies to go on and win the grand final in 2024 and are priced at 6.00 to do so.

However, there is a long way to go and there can be no room for any early complacency when take on the Tigers who sit 0-3 after a slow start.

In the second AFL clash on Sunday, Western Bulldogs will be expected to put West Coast to the sword at Marvel Stadium.

The Bulldogs are 2.40 to make the top eight and play finals this season, so a win over the Eagles is a must.

Western Bulldogs will still have a shock defeat to the Eagles fresh in their memory as they head into Sunday’s clash.

With the Bulldogs pushing for finals, the struggling Eagles turned up and pulled off a shock seven-point win in round 23 last season.

The Eagles winning by 1-12 points can be backed at 7.00 this time as well, but the Bulldogs should have learnt from their mistakes.

If they do click, the Bulldogs can be backed at 3.40 to run riot and beat the Eagles by 73+ points.

The Bulldogs have quality all over the park, including Cody Weightman, who booted a couple of goals in the win over the Gold Coast Suns.

The small forward is 9.50 to score the first against the Eagles.

Picking up the small wins will be the key to the West Coast rebuild and they are priced at 5.00 to start well and win the first quarter by 1-18 points.

Sydney target fourth straight win

What: Richmond v Sydney
Where: MCG, Melbourne
When: 16:00, Sunday 31st March 2024
How to watch: Foxtel, Kayo
Odds: Richmond 4.35, Sydney 1.22

Sydney are proving there is life after Lance Franklin after winning three games on the spin following his retirement at the end of last season.

Tom Papley is one of the players helping to fill the void and booted four goals in the 30-point win over Essendon.

The Swans have threats all over the park, but Papley can be backed at 11.00 to carry on where he left off against the Bombers and kick the first of the game.

The Tigers are in a rebuild under new coach Adam Yze and have started the campaign with three straight losses.

They can think themselves a little unlucky after losing by just five points to Carlton, however.

Port Adelaide beat them by 30 in the last game, but there were positives with Liam Baker kicking three goals.

The Swans can be backed at 5.50 to beat Richmond by 25 to 36 points.
