Big Bash: Sydney Sixers out for three in a row

Sydney Sixers have two wins from two but are in for a big test when Adelaide Strikers arrive at the SCG on Friday.

The Sixers have edged two victories over Melbourne Renegades and Hobart Hurricanes and will be looking to add the Strikers to their list of scalps.

Sydney Sixers are one of the hot fancies to win BBL 13 at 4.50 and a win over Adelaide is the order of the day.

It will not be easy though against a Strikers side that has already beaten Sydney Thunder this campaign after the Perth Scorchers clash was abandoned.

The Strikers are 10.00 to win the BBL outright, and could be potential dark horses as they have some very dangerous players in the ranks.

The Sixers have not been spectacular in their opening two games of the campaign, but they have won both, which is all that matters.

They started with an eight-run win over the Renegades, before edging out Hobart Hurricanes in another close battle.

Moises Henriques has impressed with the bat in the opening two games, scoring a total of 60 runs.

However, it was Daniel Hughes who top-scored in the win over the Hurricanes, when finishing on 60 not-out.

Hughes can be backed at 5.00 to be Team – Top Batter for a second match on the run.

Tom Curran also shone with the ball during the win over the Hurricanes, posting some of the best figure so far.

Curran took 3-19 off his four overs and is priced at 4.33 to be Team – Top Bowler.

Ben Dwarshuis has also taken a total of five wickets over the two opening games and can be backed at 4.00.

Strikers up and running

Adelaide Strikers are up and away for BBL 13 after beating Sydney Thunder by six wickets on Tuesday night.

Chasing a target of 201 to secure the win, they got there with four deliveries to spare and Matt Short was the man of the moment.

Short smashed 82 runs off 41 deliveries to help his side to the win and he is 3.60 to be Team – Top Batter against the Sixers.

D’Arcy Short also scored 66 runs and is priced at 4.50.

Jamie Overton and David Payne took a couple of wickets each and are 4.33 and 4.00 respectively to be the Strikers Team – Top Bowler.
