Indian Wells outright odds

The world's best men's and women's players congregate at Indian Wells in California for the BNP Paribas Open, with Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek the reigning champions.

Spanish ace Alcaraz is actually the two-time defending champion in the men's event, while Polish star Swiatek took the honours in the women's event in both 2022 and 2024, beating Maria Sakkari in both finals.

Alcaraz has also claimed his two titles against the same player, defeating Daniil Medvedev in both 2023 and 2024.

Carlos Alcaraz - 4.00
Novak Djokovic -
7.50
Alexander Zverev -
8.00
Daniil Medvedev - 12.00
Alex de Minaur -
34.00

Carlos Alcaraz - 4.00

Carlos Alcaraz starts as the hot fancy to complete a hat-trick of successes at Indian Wells and there are very good reasons for that position.

In 2023 he claimed his first title without dropping a set, seeing off Jannik Sinner 7-6 6-3 in the semi-finals before downing Medvedev 6-3 6-2 in the final.

Twelve months on and Alcaraz was pushed a little harder, dropping his first set of the tournament to Matteo Arnaldi before recovering to win 6-7 6-0 6-1.

He showed his class in the latter stages as Alexander Zverev was downed 6-3 6-1 in the quarter-finals, Sinner was beaten 1-6 6-3 6-2 in the semis and Medvedev was seen off 7-6 6-1 in the final.

Novak Djokovic - 7.50

Novak Djokovic is a joint record five-time champion in Indian Wells, sharing the honour with long-term rival Roger Federer.

However, the last of his titles came back in 2016 and since then he has not made it past the fourth round in four further campaigns, so taking him on to win a record sixth title is something of a leap of faith.

Andy Murray remains among his coaching staff, but Djokovic will also have to overcome a draw which sees him potentially facing Alcaraz in the quarter-finals, although he did defeat the Spaniard in the last eight at the Australian Open earlier this year.

Alexander Zverev - 8.00

Alexander Zverev has re-emerged as a major force in the game in recent times and reached the Australian Open at the start of the year, only to be taken apart by a seemingly unstoppable Jannik Sinner, who is absent from Indian Wells.

Zverev’s best showings at the BNP Paribas Open are runs to the quarters in both 2021 and 2024, while this time around he heads into the tournament boosted by being the top seed and being in the opposite side of the draw to both Alcaraz and Djokovic.

WTA Indian Wells

WTA outright odds

Aryna Sabalenka - 4.33
Iga Swiatek -
5.00
Elena Rybakina -
8.50
Coco Gauff -
11.00

Aryna Sabalenka - 4.33

Aryna Sabalenka is the top seed in the women's draw and she is still chasing a first Indian Wells title, having lost 7-6 6-4 to Elena Rybakina in the 2023 final.

In 2024 she was beaten by Emma Navarro in three sets in the fourth round, while her 2025 campaign began with a narrow miss in her attempts to clinch a hat-trick of Australian Open crowns, being defeated 6-3 2-6 7-5 by Madison Keys in the final.

Sabalenka is something of a hardcourt specialist, having triumphed in Melbourne in both 2023 and 2024, as well as claiming the US Open title in 2024.

Iga Swiatek - 5.00

Iga Swiatek may have won four of her five Grand Slam titles on the clay in Paris, but she has plenty of pedigree at Indian Wells, having been crowned champion in two of the last three years.

Having also reached the semi-finals in 2023 before being downed by eventual champion Rybakina, Swiatek clearly enjoys the conditions on offer in California and benefits from being in the opposite half of the draw to Sabalenka, Coco Gauff and Australian Open champion Keys.

Elena Rybakina - 8.50

Elena Rybakina was crowned champion at Indian Wells in 2023, before injury forced her to miss out on a title defence 12 months later, so she will have a point to prove this time around.

Her 2025 season began with a fourth-round loss at the Australian Open, although she was beaten by an inspired Keys who went on to see off Elina Svitolina, Swiatek and Sabalenka to claim her second Grand Slam title.

Rybakina triumphed at Wimbledon in 2022 and reached the final of the Australian Open the following year, but a run to the semi-finals in SW19 last year is the best she has managed since then.
