The Galaxy is a Group 1 Thoroughbred horse race which is raced under handicap conditions at Rosehill Racecourse, Sydney, in March each year.
The Galaxy is part of the Sydney Autumn Carnival and is raced over 1100 metres, with $1million in prize money up for grabs.
It is seen as the perfect lead-up race for the $2.5million Group 1 T J Smith Stakes, so always attracts a strong field of sprinters.
