A-League: Unbeaten records on the line in Sydney

The A-League returns this week with a clash between two unbeaten sides, Macarthur and Melbourne Victory, on Friday night.

With the international break out of the way, the A-League is back with a hectic run of fixtures and both the Bulls and Victory will be keen to build on a solid start to the season.

They are two of four teams locked on eight points at the top of the ladder, following two wins and two draws.

Victory can be backed at 6.00 to win the minor premiership this season, while Macarthur remain outsiders at 13.00.

Plenty of goals are usually the order of the day when these two sides play, and the clash at Campbelltown Stadium could be no different.

Bulls off to a flyer

The season has started well for Macarthur coach Mile Sterjovski as the Bulls remain undefeated from four games.

Sterjovski was handed the reins back in January, and it looks as though his first full pre-season with the club is starting to pay off.

It is still early days but wins over Western United and Central Coast Mariners have been backed up with draws against Brisbane Roar and Melbourne City.

Macarthur could have been sitting at the top of the ladder, however, if they had managed to hold on to a 3-1 lead at City before the international break.

Goals in the 81st and 83rd minute set them up for the win, only to concede two goals in stoppage time.

Even so, such a performance away at Melbourne City should be seen as a positive.

Macarthur have threats all over the park so far this season and they are sharing the goals around the team so far.

Ulises Davila is off the mark already and is always a huge threat. He can be backed at 2.87 to score at anytime on Friday night.

There is usually goals when these two meet. Indeed there has been over 2.5 goals in five of the last six meetings. The same to happen again can be backed at 1.57.

Fornaroli on fire

Victory have a great record against Macarthur and have won the last four games against them.

Two of those games have been at Campbelltown Stadium when they ran out 1-0 and 4-1 winners.

They have drawn their last two games, however, both 1-1 against Wellington Phoenix and Adelaide United.

The same score on Friday night can be backed at 7.50.

In Bruno Fornaroli, Victory do have the hottest striker in A-League football right now after he bagged six goals in the opening four games.

The Victory ace can be backed at 6.50 to grab the first goal of the game against Macarthur.
