Australia can take a step closer to the semi-finals with a win over New Zealand and have had the edge over the White Ferns in recent meetings.
Indeed, they beat them 3-0 in the most recent T20 series in Australia and are the hot fancies to win Wednesday’s clash.

That should give New Zealand plenty of confidence and they will be out to give the Aussie a game at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

They were sloppy at times and will realise they need to sharpen up as the tournament progresses, starting against New Zealand.
